Echo Road is a short block in the Lakewood/Long Meadow neighborhood of Durham. Ours is the 2nd one on the left if you turn off Bivins. Plenty of street parking up and down the road; please leave the driveway free; we need to make sure Brian’s parents have access to the stairs/ramp.
ATTIRE: Please just be cute and comfortable…on the dressier side of casual, but keep it comfortable — it’s July in the SOUTH (whew!)
DINNER
Immediately following the ceremony, we’ll have a little toast before we head downtown for dinner. We’ve selected a 3-course experience with balanced options for most palates—vegan, vegetarian, shrimp, chicken, beef, chocolate, non-chocolate…lots of choices!
TIME: 5:00 PM seating
LOCATION: The Counting House @ 21c Museum Hotel, 111 N. Corcoran Street, Durham NC 27701
The Counting House is located on the street level of 21c Hotel. Upon arrival, let the host know you are with the Henderson Wedding Dinner.
PARKING: Valet parking is available ($18); street parking is free on Sundays. There is also paid parking at Unscripted, the hotel diagonal to 21c.
WHILE YOU’RE WAITING: 21c has a contemporary art museum on the 2nd/3rd floors that you can visit should you arrive a few minutes before our 5pm reservation.
BATHROOMS: Bathrooms are located upstairs—NOTE: in order to ensure privacy, you must lock the door to engage the privacy glass!
REGISTRY
Several of you have kindly inquired about a gift registry, and we deeply appreciate your thoughtfulness and generosity! We have chosen not to register anywhere because, honestly, the greatest gift you can give us is your presence on this day, celebrating our union. However, if giving a gift is something you feel strongly about, we are currently working on finishing up our home renovation. Home improvement gift cards or contributions toward our renovation project would be warmly welcomed and greatly appreciated.
